We are looking for experienced Welders and Fabricators to join our growing Engineering Team.
These are Full Time positions based at our Main Site in Derby. Hourly rate to be confirmed on application.
8.5 hour shift (0730-1630) Monday to Friday with overtime available.
Key Responsibilities:
- TIG and MIG welding of mild steel/aluminium and stainless steel, with the ability to pass weld testing.
- Manufacturing panel work and other sheet metal components to a high standard.
- Preparing and cleaning welded components.
- Working to deadlines to achieve customer expectations.
- Conforming to Quality assurance and Health & Safety standards.
- Completing relevant documents for each task.
- Driving company vehicles.
- General labour duties.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Good time keeping and punctuality.
- Motivated personality with the desire to learn.
- Work independently and within a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read drawings.
- Competent using power and hand tools including general fabrication machinery/equipment.
Min 4 years experience in Welding / Fabrication and possess the relevant qualification / experience. Welders must have previously passed Test Bars and all positional fillet and butt welds.
